Privacy, clearly explained.
Here's how we handle applications and feedback for the GATE External Developer Beta. This notice covers the beta forms, not all operational API telemetry.
Last updated: October 8, 2026 · Main GATE privacy notice ↗
Information we collect
Applications: email address, self-reported role, intended integration, use-case description, submission date, consent timestamp and application-review status.
Feedback: the email and message you choose to submit, together with an experience category and consent timestamp.
Abuse prevention: a short-lived daily pseudonymous network fingerprint is used to rate-limit submissions. Beta application tables do not store raw IP addresses; infrastructure providers may nevertheless process connection metadata.
Why we use it
We use submissions to evaluate interest, select a first cohort of up to ten independent developers, contact selected applicants, and improve documentation and integrations.
Applying does not create a GATE API account, activate a paid subscription or subscribe you to promotional emails. Invitations are sent manually from gate.security.network@gmail.com.
Hosting and service providers
The beta application records are stored in private tables on the Supabase Canadian primary database. The public pages run on Vercel. Email correspondence uses Google Gmail.
These providers may process infrastructure logs or communications in locations outside Canada, in accordance with their own service configurations and terms. Please do not send credentials, private signing keys, or sensitive personal data through the beta forms.
Retention and deletion
Applications are kept while we evaluate this developer cohort. Non-selected applications are reviewed for deletion after selection; we have not yet configured automatic retention-based deletion, so we do not promise a fixed automatic deletion date.
You may request deletion of your application or feedback by contacting gate.security.network@gmail.com. We review requests manually, subject to any applicable legal obligations.
Access, corrections and questions
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information you submitted, contact gate.security.network@gmail.com using the same email address where possible. We may need to verify that the request belongs to the applicant before acting.
For questions about the identity of the beta operator or its data handling arrangements, contact the same address. Formal operator details will be finalized before wider commercial enrollment.
Security reports and limitations
Our beta records are accessible through server-controlled functions rather than direct anonymous database-table access. No system should be treated as risk-free.
Report sensitive vulnerabilities privately to gate.security.network@gmail.com. Do not post security tokens or private incident details in public GitHub issues.
GATE remains an experimental Developer Preview without a contractual production SLA, an independent security certification, or active regional replicas.
